She was very knowledgeable, kind, reliable, professional, and communicated well through out the entire process. Her food was great, I received many compliments from guest. We are vegetarians which can be challenging, but she was able to deliver exactly what we wanted. Clarrisa catered my wedding at Southern Oaks venue in Gilbert, SC 1/14/23 and did an outstanding job. She is super sweet and responsive and what drew me to her is that she had such an extensive menu that offered almost everything I wanted for my wedding. I wanted American, Korean, and Vietnamese food at my wedding: being a Korean American myself and my husband being Vietnamese. Clarrisa provided me with American and Korean catering and although she couldn’t provide me with Vietnamese catering she was kind enough to lend serving dishes and a printed out menu for that portion despite it being from another caterer. Her whole team did a fantastic job setting up, serving us, and dancing with us through our reception. Clarrisa’s cooking is delicious and a year later I’m still hearing from our guests about how good our food was! Clarrisa was even sweet and thoughtful enough to send me a happy anniversary email on our anniversary and gifted us a dinner for 4 which was so nice. She now has an event space in Irmo that is beautifully renovated and is perfect for any occasion. Thank you to Clarrisa and her amazing team for everything! My daughter was overly satisfied and the food was delicious! She helped me set up and bring my vision to life! She knew I was pressed for time and accomodated my schedule also. Not only was the food delicious, but the quote provided was half of what other vendors offered with NO drop in quality, presentation, or service. The service was professional and personalized to our needs (colors, tastes, etc). We are truly grateful for the contributions provided to our special day, and would recommend them to anyone who asks. Crystal Felder 5 stars is not enough for this business. I hired Clarrisa to cater a surprise party for my mom and it was nothing short of amazing! She was more than just a caterer. She secured the DJ, photographer, and the decorator. Clarrisa and her husband James are so kind! When we met for the first time though we were conducting business and they were extremely professional it felt like I was planning a party with family. When my brother and I were unsure of what to do for a menu she took her time and went through options with us to craft the perfect one for our guests. What I appreciate the most was her communication! She would check in every so often to confirm there were no changes and to verify that she'd secured the appropriate people for the party. Her and James' venue is absolutely perfect for any gathering. I don't even have words to describe how good the food was. Clarrisa even did a cheese and fruit tray for a cocktail hour that paired perfectly with the Sangria bar. The night of the party she had another event and despite that, she still made time to come by before we left to see how everything went. Her staff members were so kind and professional! The price for renting the venue, food, photographer, decorator, and DJ was very reasonable. I had contacted 3 other caterers and either they never contacted me after filling out an inquiry or they stood me up. I'm so glad they did! If you are having an event or need a venue do not hesitate to book JC Legacy Event center and Clarrisa's Kitchen. You will not be disappointed!! We booked for our rehearsal dinner and wedding and each night the food was AMAZING and not to mention the team was so gracious, accommodating and fun!! The owner, Clarrisa, made sure everything was perfect for both of our events and is outstanding! From our first discussions, to the tasting, to the day of the wedding she went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I were happy. She was super sweet as I went back and forth and finally settled on a menu. At the tasting we sampled the menu and had some great laughs! On my wedding day I had some family members that were fasting due to Ramadan and she made plates for them in to go containers and put it to the side so they could enjoy when they broke their fast. Her staff was also very professional. And did I say the food was DELICIOUS!!!! We had salmon, roast, chicken marsala, mashed potatoes, rice pilaf and green beans. Let me say it again... the food was DELICIOUS. We will be using Clarissa's Kitchen for all of our future events. She is now part of the family.
